# Archive (overview)

Pages in this folder are **legacy / archived**. They are hidden from the public docs (`hidden: true` frontmatter) and preserved here as a reference library — visuals to reuse, copy to validate against, history to consult.

## Rules for the docs agent

* **Read-only.** Do not edit, expand, or restructure archive pages without explicit approval from Elle.
* **Do not link to archive pages from live docs.** They are hidden for a reason.
* **Do mine them for visuals and reference content** when drafting new pages.
* **Do not create new pages under `archive/`.** New work goes in the live sections.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.riff.ai/archive/archive.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
